The Avalon CL is a wireless monitoring solution developed for labor and intrapartum care environments. It enables pregnant women to move freely—such as walking, standing, or showering—while ensuring continuous monitoring of fetal and maternal vital signs. Thanks to Philips’ patented Smart Pulse™ technology, maternal and fetal heart rates are automatically differentiated, and maternal NIBP and SpO₂ monitoring is supported even in twin and triplet pregnancies. Wireless transducers transmit data directly to Avalon monitors or IntelliSpace Perinatal systems, eliminating cable clutter, enhancing patient comfort, and fully preserving clinical visibility.
