Description

The Philips MCOT system provides up to 30 days of mobile cardiac telemetry by monitoring arrhythmias using its advanced SmartDetect algorithm, which analyzes rate, rhythm, QRS morphology, and P-wave characteristics. With a lightweight (<1 oz), waterproof patch, a rechargeable sensor, and a touchscreen user interface, it offers patients comfort and freedom of movement. The built-in patient diary and multilingual display options improve adherence, while timely notifications of urgent and critical events support prompt clinical intervention.

In clinical practice, MCOT simplifies cardiac monitoring through fast patient enrollment, device delivery either in-clinic or by mail, 24/7 patient support, and customizable reporting workflows tailored to physician preferences.
